The Crane currently offers our owners the opportunity to join the RCI® Points exchange system (all owners) or The Registry Collection® (owners of 4 weeks or more). Crane owners are then able to see the world by trading their fixed weeks for vacations in some of the most luxurious resorts and popular destination clubs.
One of the key selling points of The Crane has been its extremely high trading power in the RCI exchange network, since fractional owners (even summer owners) are generally able to trade one Crane Week for multiple weeks in RCI’s highest rated resorts. For members of RCI, The Crane’s relationship with the exchange club is about to become even more flexible! Over the past year, The Crane has been working with RCI to enhance our partnership and bring great new benefits to owners in RCI Points. We are now in the final stages of planning, and hope to have all the details in place by the end of April 2012.
Recently, Geoff Ballotti, CEO of RCI, spent a relaxing week at the resort with his family and chatted to the team about what lies in store for RCI members:
“I think one of the biggest frustrations among the RCI membership is the knowledge of how desirable The Crane is,” said Ballotti. “Unfortunately, The Crane does not have enough availability to meet the demands of the RCI membership. We are very optimistic that the new business model will create more potential availability allowing more RCI members and Registry Collection members to visit where everybody wants to visit.”
