# Weddings at The Crane
Located on the stunning South East coast of Barbados, The Crane is the ideal location for your wedding, reception and of course honeymoon. Our resident Romance Concierge is knowledgeable, and ready to assist to ensure that your wedding day is wonderfully unforgettable.
**Weddings**
At The Crane, we have created a number of packages which have been designed using previous experiences and an understanding of what is most important to our couples. Couples may choose from either our Crystal, Pearl or Diamond packages. There is also the option to add additional services at an additional cost.
We currently conduct wedding ceremonies in three spectacular locations on property: The Classic Beach wedding, The Cliff pool wedding and The Historic Wedding Garden.
**Receptions**
With several locations on property, our wedding coordinator can assist with planning a small intimate reception or a larger affair for a
maximum of 160 persons. Each venue is unique and with a little imagination can be transformed into a magical reception venue.
Unique venues include:
- The Pavilion Room
- The Town Hall
- The Carriage House Restaurant & Bar
- L’Azure Restaurant
- Zen Restaurant
- D’Onofrio’s Trattoria
**Honeymoons**
The Crane offers the ideal accommodation and naturally beautiful setting for an idyllic honeymoon. Each room includes a magnificent King sized bed with hand crafted mahogany four posters. Some rooms also feature spectacular ocean views, indoor Jacuzzi, outdoor plunge pools and showers fitted with multiple shower heads. Our rooms are perfect for a romantic secluded escape.
Our special welcome for honeymooners includes fresh flowers in-suite and a chilled bottle of wine on arrival.
Honeymoon Package - US$240 plus accommodation which includes:
•Crane Welcome
•Chilled Bottle of Wine and Fresh Flowers
•A Romantic In-room Breakfast
•Catamaran Cruise
**Things to Remember**
Couples must be on island two days before wedding and must be resident guests of the resort.
Valid passports or original/certified copies of your birth certificates are required.
If either party is widowed, a certified copy of the marriage certificate and death certificate in respect of the deceased spouse will be required.
Application for a marriage license must be made by the bride and groom in person at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Crane includes round-trip transportation to this office in its wedding packages.
If neither the bride nor the groom is a citizen of Barbados, proof of return to home country will be required.
