Residences in the Park - Official opening of Park 6

The much anticipated Residences in the Park- Park 6 was declared officially opened by Minister of Tourism, The Honourable Richard Sealy, following a short ribbon cutting ceremony on June 29, 2012.

The event was attended by members of the senior management team as well as representatives from the Construction, Architecture and Landscaping departments. Also in attendance were several key industry partners including; Mr. David Rice- President of the Barbados Tourism Authority, Mrs. Patricia Affonso –Dass -President of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Authority (BHTA) and Executive Vice President of the BHTA -Sue Springer. Other invited guests included representatives from Goddards Enterprise Limited, Town and Country Planning and the National Conservation Commission.

In his opening remarks, owner Paul Doyle discussed development updates and his vision for the property throughout the years. He also acknowledged the entire Crane team and thanked everyone for their exceptionally hard work and dedication to maintaining good occupancy levels throughout the summer months and into the high season.

In his feature address, the Minister of Tourism highlighted the importance of maintaining an excellent plant and he saluted The Crane “for making significant investments in its staff.

Entertainment was provided by Hilda Skeene Primary School, the Crane’s adopted school for the Schools Tourism Education Programme (STEP). The school’s choir headed by Ms Anthea Maxwell, lustily performed a series of songs which were uplifting, comic and thoroughly entertaining.

After that musical treat, all guests were invited to a tour of Park 6. Many were astounded by the spaciousness, the privacy and the elements of indoor/outdoor living, while several commented that they would be booking their holidays soon.
