# Do Not Disturb: Romantic Ideas for Valentine's Day at The Crane

Love is in the air in February, and there’s no better escape for Valentine’s Day than The Crane Resort on the secluded South-East coast of Barbados. Indeed, The Crane naturally lends itself to romance with its breathtaking ocean views from every vantage point and expansive suites boasting roomy Jacuzzis in most room categories, not to mention the intimate atmospheric lighting gently illuminating romantic nighttime strolls. But this is only where the romance begins. Read on for excellent ideas of how best to enjoy your romantic getaway at The Crane.
**Couples massages at Serenity Spa**
The Crane is home to the Serenity Spa, a full-service spa with relaxing signature treatments and a holistic approach to wellness. The spa offers several services including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, body treatments and more. Perfect for Valentine's Day is the Couples Journey, a 60 minute Rose Petal massage for two done simultaneously by two therapists, as well as a duo facial and lunch in-suite so that you can unwind in total comfort. In addition, in-suite warm stone manicures and pedicures complete this wonderful journey. This would be the perfect shared gift of romance for you and your loved one.
**Romantic dinner at Zen**
[Zen](https://zenbarbados.com/) is a Zagat-rated restaurant offering the very best in authentic Japanese and Thai cuisine. The restaurant is wonderfully decorated in a traditional Japanese style, and the meals are simply exquisite. Zen also offers private booths for added privacy, while the main floor features magnificent glass frontage revealing beautiful night time views of the world-renowned Crane Beach.
**In-suite Pools and Jacuzzi Baths**
The Crane is home to a large variety of pools, with 5 communal pools including a 1-5 acre multi-level cliff pool complex. Additionally, with privacy and comfort in mind, many of the Resort’s large suites boast private pools in a range of different styles depending on the room category. Have your pick between view-surveying corner plunge pools, or 28’ ground floor pools with ocean views and infinity-edges. How about an exquisite rooftop 12’ pool with 360-degree views from our penthouse suites? Or perhaps the oasis-like garden pools complete with dining gazebos?

These often include sumptuous chocolate eclairs, moist chocolate cake and delicious brownies. And for those with a sweet tooth easily satisfied by ice-cream, this cafe also makes wonderful home-made gelato in several flavours.
**Calypso Kids Club**
If you’re unable to leave the little ones at home during your getaway, The Crane is home to the Calypso Kids Club which offers fun activities for children from the ages of 4 to 12 years old.
