The Government of Barbados has announced a relaxation in COVID-19 travel restrictions. Under the new guidelines, persons traveling to Barbados will now be able to enter the country with a valid negative Rapid Antigen test done within one day prior to arrival.
Testing Requirements Explained
As of February 26th, 2022, all travellers can now enter Barbados with the following negative test results:
Tests must be done at an accredited or recognized lab. LAMP tests, self-administered tests or home kits and tests using saliva samples will not be accepted.
Results are required for all persons 5 years or older.
Travelers are also advised to download the BIMSafe App which allows for a pre-validation process for incoming travellers and enables a more seamless flow for passengers on arrival at the airport. BIMSafe is operated and owned by the Barbados Ministry of Health and Wellness.
